Kaya obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Military Social Work. As the mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and spouse of military veterans, Kaya is honored to work with all veterans including LGBTQIA+ service members.
Kaya’s approach is holistic and integrative which includes mindfulness-based interventions, empowerment model, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal and Narrative Therapy and more. She is a certified Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner.
Kaya is currently working toward sex therapy certification and has a special interest in couples new to ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and healing after ending relationships. Kaya is passionate about her work with clients’ navigating their sacred sexuality, issues with intimacy, self-care and boundary setting, sexual anxiety, and humans exploring sex living with chronic pain and body scarring. I would love to join you on your journey of healing and sexual discovery.
